Learn to fly

Playing with inks (I told you I'm in a media rage, trying everything I can! I even painted an Easter wooden egg with acrylics!)

I had a reference for the girl from somewhere on dA, i will post a link when I find it (found it: [link]), and the idea of the flower-shaped wings forming from ink rose in my mind from the generic of a really nice movie I've seen recently, The Painted Veil.

It's 45x45cm inks on paper, comments and critiques very much appreciated. But please be nice, it's my first time with such a medium, and it's a kinda tricky one...
